07/13: Chapter 3 -Bo*
Chapter 3 - Bo(* next to name means Jr.)
Enos let Bo* loose after a few hours. Enos went up and saw Bo* had fallen asleep, tired from yelling, and took that chance to un-cuff him. He did it quietly so Bo wouldn’t wake up while he was there, then left the room. Enos went to his room to call Luke and tell him he let Bo* go, while making the call he heard footsteps running away and heard the door slam.
“Bo’s* gone Luke, and I don’t know what a mood he was in,” Enos told him.
“Thanks for letting me know Enos, bye,” Luke said hanging up.
“What is it dad?” Luke* asked. He had gone over for a visit.
“Enos let Bo* go,” Luke told him.
“It’s part my fault he’s still acting the way he is, what I told him in the hospital after I woke up…” Luke* began.
“NO. Don’t start thinking like that, Bo’s* having a hard time dealing with everything that’s happened. It’s my fault for letting Daisy talking me into getting him to go see…” Luke stopped.
“No its not dad, Bo* had to meet his dad sooner or later, and I don’t know what happened between you and your cousin, but I think you need to let it go,” Luke* told his dad.
“You need to stay out of that,” Luke told him.
“Why should I? In a way your acting just like Bo*,” Luke* said getting up with the help of some crutches, due to his still broken right leg, and healing ribs, “you hadn’t been the happiest, from what I hear since you made up with your cousin. Until the crash we had you were free and happy. Now your just bitter,” Luke* walked out of the house to wait for John to pick him up.
Meanwhile Bo was driving the General and stopped at the Boar’s Nest for a drink where he ran into Rodney and Lewis Hatch.
“I’m not in the mood, get out of my way,” Bo told them as they blocked the door to go into the Boar’s Nest.
“Word on the street is you finally met your daddy,” Lewis told him.
“And he didn’t want you,” Rodney said.
“Shut up, and get out of my way,” Bo said again.
“Or what?” Lewis snickered.
“I said,” Bo slammed Lewis against the wall and held a gun to his face, “or else.”
“Hey man, what the hell do you think your doing!” Rodney said, “let him go!”
“Or what?” Bo snickered back.
“Come on, your crazy,” Rodney said.
Bo then let Lewis go, got back into the General, and took off, “I’m out of this town,” he said before he drove off headed out of Hazzard.
Back at Enos’ house Jesse got home the next morning, he had stayed over at a friends house, “dad? You home?” Jesse said walking, noticing the dresser drawer open a bit, he went to close it and saw his dad’s gun was gone. He headed up to his room when his dad came out of his.
“I let Bo go last night,” Enos told him.
“I didn’t think you were home,” Jesse said, “you cleaning your gun or something?”
“No, why?” Enos asked.
“It’s not in the dress…” he was cut off by Enos running past him downstairs to see himself, “dog gone it, that boys done gone to far,” Enos picked up the phone and called Luke.
“Hello?” Luke said picking up the phone.
“Luke, this is Enos, I got so bad news,” Enos said, “it’s Bo…” Enos trailed off, “when I let him loose last night, he left, and he took my gun.”
“He what!” Luke exclaimed, “I’ll get my truck and go look for him,” he added just as John ran in.
“Dad, I was driving past the Boar’s Nest when Lewis Hatch ran me down, I was gonna drive past him, but I stopped, he said Bo held a gun to his head last night, then took off,” John told him, “he said Bo said something about leaving Hazzard. I asked the jerk why he didn’t say anything, he said he was gonna settle it with Bo his way.”
“Where would he go?” Luke* asked as he made his way inside, not really wanting to talk to his dad.
“Somewhere I hope he doesn’t,” Luke said picking up the phone and calling Smallville.
Martha answered, “hello?”
“Hello Martha,” Luke said.
“Oh Luke I am glad you called, I’ll get Jonathan,” she said happy thinking he was finally going to come to terms.
“No… I’m not calling to talk to him,” Luke said.
“Oh… then what…” she began.
“It’s Bo, he’s taken Enos’ gun, and left Hazzard last night, we just found out,” Luke told her.
“And… you think he’s coming here?” she said worried.
“I hope not, but yes… if he shows up… be careful, I don’t know what is going through his head anymore. He’s not the same kid that I helped raise,” Luke told her, he also told her how he beat Jesse up, and about telling Enos to lock him up, but that Enos only cuffed him.
“Are you sure you don’t want to talk to Jonathan, he’s been…”
“No, I’m sorry, but I don’t want to talk to him, just want to tell you if Bo’s going to be there he might get there by tonight if he don’t stop, or get stopped the way he drives, or tomorrow morning, goodbye,” Luke said hanging up.
Martha talked to Jonathan and told him about Bo.
“He was happy before he met me, now he’s running off with a gun, they should have never brought him, never told him about me,” Jonathan said walking out of the barn where they had been talking.
Clark overheard them, well he eased dropped on them on purpose, Martha also told him what Bo did to Jesse, and what Enos had done. Now Clark knew what happened to Jesse, why he had logged off so suddenly.
‘You’ve got mail,’ rang from his computer, and he checked it.

I guess you know what’s going on by now. I told Luke and John why Bo went off on me. They wanted your sn, so I gave it to them. Remember Luke don’t know about you…
And if Bo shows up there… don’t hurt him. He’s not being himself.

I know we didn’t get a chance to talk, me being in the hospital most of the time I was there, I don’t have anything against you, but I want to warn you, don’t mess with Bo, if he shows up just stay away from him. Don’t try and do anything stupid. We might not be the way we were, but he’s still my cousin.

I just got an email from you, John, and Luke all telling me not to do anything to Bo. You can tell them, and yourself, I wont hurt him on purpose, but I will do whatever, WHATEVER to keep my dad safe. Don’t contact me again, same thing goes for your cousins.
