Well I am on day 8 of my new job, its going ok I think. At least I hope it is, I need this job…

Classes start up next Monday for me, I am not looking forward to them. I have a Math class and a Communications class this semester, both of which I do not like. Math is gonna kick my butt. My field don’t even require much math, at least not advanced math. I think its just a way for schools to take more money from you.

Anyways, onto Android! It’s been a while since I did any changes to the font pack I had going, in order to change the font on your Android powered phone, however that was due to being so busy and stressed over having to find a job… well I’ve found one so once my classes start and I get my official work schedule (since I am on a training schedule) I will have a new website just for Android related stuff, as well as things related to Android and its gal fans/users. So keep an eye on for that!

Now if you looked at my title of this post and thought “What!! How can she say Vampires suck!!!” Relax and calm down… I’m referencing the movie that opens today, “Vampires Suck.” Its a spoof movie covering the Twilight films. Now I never watch these spoof movies, I think they have all been ridiculous, and although I think that of Vampires Suck… I WILL be seeing this, no way a Twilight Fan cannot see this, its just too funny. Tomorrow I will be on day 7 of training, and I am on week 2 of training as well. I don’t know what those training me may think but I was not happy with myself the other day. I tried 2 calls, both of which I got sort of nervous and messed up. First one the page didn’t load, so did not see a search bar… really made myself look stupid… 2nd one involved an issue with a application that we do not have access to at work… I can’t memorize all the settings in the application… I’ve set up a system to login to my home pc though for future reference. I am not used to getting nervous and messing up… it didn’t help that I was being watched, if I was alone on the call I would have google’d and done what I know to do, and what I would do if it was an issue I was having myself on my home pc, but with my training person watching me I screwed up… I hope I get better quick, I do not want to lose this job. I know a lot of this end user stuff that happens at my work, I just got to get used to the other side of things and I know I can do it.

I’ve been quiet for a bit, I’ve been busy. I got a new job! Thank god cause I was getting really, really stressed. I’ve been in training all week, 6am to 2pm… yep I said 6am… hard for someone who is not used to being able to sleep at night but I’m managing and I hope that it fixes my sleep issues as well. The lat 2 nights I’ve managed to sleep BEFORE midnight, which is big for me… AND actually sleep until I need to get up! Also I’ve had McDonalds for breakfest the last two morning… awesome cause I am never awake early enough to get me a Egg McMuffin.

Anyways I am training for this new job, I don’t know what my hours will be just yet but I hope its hours I can manage with school and stuff… which BTW my FA went through finally, they approved my excess credit petition and gave me the aid to finish my AA. 4-5 classes left… doing 3 this fall (I usually do 4 classes = 12 credit hours). Then next semester I will do my last 2. Sadly this semester Fall and next I will have a math class *sigh*.

I was reading my Google Friends Newsletter email today and saw a piece about a Android App Inventor… application. I went ahead and read the article on the Google Blog, as well as watch the video which I have included below. I think this is a interesting step in a good direction. Those wanting to make applications but lack the programing knowledge will find this as something interesting and possibly a way to get out their ideas. This can also be bad if we suddenly get some thousands of apps in the Market like the one made in the video below… I am a cat lover but… well I’ll let you decide after you watch the video.

Now I do not pay much attention to forwards in my inbox because I just don’t got time to look at many forwards etc. Why I opened this one up I don’t know but once I read it I was glad I did. I wanted to pass this along to others so they can enjoy it as I did.

A father passing by his son’s bedroom was astonished to see that his bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then he saw an Envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow that was addressed to ‘Dad.’ With the worst premonition he opened the envelope with trembling hands and read the letter.

Dear Dad:

It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you.

I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you.

I have been finding real passion with Stacy and she is so nice.

But I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing, tattoos, tight motorcycle clothes and the fact that she is much older than I am.

But it’ s not only the passion… Dad she’s pregnant.

Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter.

We share a dream of having many more children. Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone.

We’ll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with the other people that live nearby for cocaine and ecstasy.

In the meantime we will pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Stacy can get better. She deserves it.

Don’t worry Dad. I’m 15 and I know how to take care of myself.

Someday I’m sure that we will be back to visit so that you can get to know your grandchildren.

So those lucky thousands who go to go to the San Diego Comicon that I would like to go to one day were not only lucky enough to see a Smallville panel WITH John Schneider returning as Jonathan Kent, and of course Tom Welling, but they also saw this!!!!

The fact that this is indeed the last season is sad, I have watched this show for the last 10 years and to see the final season is gonna be great and sad at the same time because once this is over, thats it. Can’t wait for it to start though!

Oh and I got an interview for a job today… hope I get it. Hope that I like it if I get it.

This song would be one of my fav’s if Rhianna was not in it, since she is in it it brings the quality down for me. Yep I am not a Rhianna fan.

If your unlucky enough to lose someone to brain cancer you tell yourself that nothing like that could happen again. How could you personally know another person in your life time to fall to that illness. Well this week I found out that anything is possible. My grandmother died from brain cancer some years ago, this week a aunt of mine on my grandmothers side died, although before you think it had something to do with genes and hereditary no it did not, my aunt was my aunt by marriage. What a small world right.

Seem’s to be FOX has made a good decision adding this girl to the cast come fall.
