DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS UP YOUR PHONE. I have tested this on my MyTouch 3G ROOTED phone and they do work without any issues. I do not have others phones and cannot test them on other phones, as always make backups just in case something goes wrong, and if something does I am not responsible for any problems that may occur. The world of rooting and modifying is a “take the chance” type of thing. If you are scared then do not do this. YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED!!!!!!!

If you don’t know what Android is, you probably don’t need to be on this page. Android although in the dictionary is:

HIOWEVER the way I am using it, and many others are using it, is to speak of Android the phone OS developed by the Open Handset Alliance / I.E. a Google Phone as some might say. I have a MyTouch 3G white with a original black back. I don’t think i’ll do many other things than FONTS being as I am not as knowledgeable at all as others out there. I know how to root my phone (Unlockr way), and how to sign a file for use on Android phones. I found a thread on the TMO forum >here< that directs you to >here< on the XDA forums that was started by user mohsinkhan47. He (?) figured out how to flash a zip on your phone as you would any other rom, or theme file in recovery and there you go, a new font for your entire phone’s OS.

My first step was learning to make fonts I liked into this format. I made a few and then posted them in the XDA forum thread. Then a user named Stericson showed me how it would be possible to use his Metamorph program to be able to bypass the use of the recovery console and change fonts from within a app, Metamorph, reboot and there you have it. I will be adding my file with all the fonts in it on this page. It will always be one file unless I break them down into categories or font styles but for now just one, as another plus for doing it this way is less files to have to put on you phone.

And also, on a side note in case some of you may wonder… wtf… I am first off a girl, and this is first off my personal blog where I rant and talk about whatever, can’t change who I am. Heh.

About these fonts, unless otherwise noted are not MADE by me. They are simply being compiled by me to work and be used on Android powered phones. Copyright and all that fine stuff still belongs to those who made them.
