How I’ll Remember +++++++++++++ Heath Ledger

I’ve been in a Heath mood the last few days. I guess it’s all the award talk going on and what not, or the fact I’ve been using my desktop again which a picture of him as the Joker hangs behind. Either way I decided to post some images of how I’ll remember Heath Ledger.

Not So Bad Boy

First saw him in 10 Things I Hate About You, I believe. The typical bad boy, but not really a bad boy. His voice was charming, his smile was as bright as a Christmas tree, and his hair you wanted to run your hand through. I didn’t know who he was at the time, but I made sure to find out. Although he wasn’t perfect in his singing scene, he was absolutely adorable and I enjoyed it.

Sir William Thatcher

When I saw previews for A Knights Tale I made sure I was going to see it. He was comedic, and serious, and in love in this movie. He played every scene well.

I Think I’ve seen this movie over 20 times, but now its hard to watch. Whenever I see it’s on, my immediate reaction now is, “awe.” Sir William Thatcher will be missed.

Who He Was

Heath did what he liked, he was always himself. He never tried to act like someone he wasn’t. If he wanted to ride his skateboard around his neighborhood with some comfortable clothes he did. He did not need to dress up or get a driver, or drive around in a real massive car. People from the neighborhood he lived in always saw him casually going around like a normal guy.

His Most Important Role Ever

When you see images of Heath with Matilda Rose, you see him the happiest he ever was. She looks just like a mini Heath, and it showed that she loved him just as much as he loved her.

Who He Was Becoming

Heath was becoming the next leading man in Hollywood. Something he worked hard for, and at the same time I think he’d have been uncomfortable with the extra attention media wise. The Joker catapulted him to heights in which he deserved to have been a long time ago, its a shame Hollywood and the world lost it’s brightest leading man to date. Heath was on his way to a place he was born to go.

How I’ll Remember Heath

Smile. R.I.P. One of the Greats.

Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.” – Little House Episode Quote

So there’s my Heath tribute post. A great guy, a great actor, a great father. Maybe I’ll post a Heath of the Month picture.
